Here are some terms that were presented in this module that may be new to you:

1. De facto standards:A de facto standard is a custom or convention that has achieved a dominant position by public acceptance or market forces (for example, by early entrance to the market).
2. Digitized content: Content that is broken down into and transmitted in digitally.
3. Interoperability: Interoperability is a property referring to the ability of diverse systems andorganizations to work together (inter-operate).
4. Maintainability:
The ease with which a software system or component can be modified to correct faults, improve performance or other attributes, or adapt to a changed environment.
5. Proprietary technologies: Technology solutions developed using customized standards.
6. Reliability:Software Reliability is the probability of failure-free software operation for a specified period of time in a specified environment.

8. Stickiness:Creating and maintaining a competitive and long-term sustainable e-commerce channel requires attention to business process.
