In this exercise, you will view a Web site's digital certificate and identify its components.
Go to the Web site for American Express and follow one of the "log in" links.
Click OK at the security alert window.
At the secure logon screen, double-click the lock in your browser's status bar; the lock icon will appear as part of the toolbar, or at the bottom right hand corner of your screen.
See if you can answer these questions: Who is the certificate authority (CA) for this Web site? When was the certificate issued? What signature algorithm is being used? When does the Webmaster have to renew the site certificate?
